Project Learning Tree Educator Receives Award  

Mrs. Cynthia Gardner, an Assistant Professor of Education at Lander University, Greenwood, SC, was presented the SC Project Learning Tree (PLT) 2010 Outstanding Educator of the Year award on November 4, 2010. Gardner was first trained in PLT in August 1992 and now instructs future educators to incorporate the environment into their classes. Cynthia Garner

Gardner was honored at the SC Forestry Association’s Annual Meeting held at Marriott Grande Dunes, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
