SC Forestry Association Items Of Interest

The "South Carolina Forests Forever" vehicle tag is available for SC Forestry Association members. The five-color message tag was launched in 2000 to reinforce the Association's Forests Forever communications campaign. It was designed to increase public awareness about the many contributions of the state's forest resources and industry's commitment to sustainable forestry.

Voluntary contributions of $4 per tag (includes postage and handling) are welcomed. Make checks payable to the SC Forestry Association. Include your complete mailing address and contact information with your request/payment to: julie@scforestry.org, or SC Forestry Association, PO Box 21303, Columbia, SC 29221-1303.

One of the most popular membership services provided by the SC Forestry Association is hunting lease liability insurance. A new brochure on the insurance is now available. Here are some points to remember:

• This insurance coverage is designed for small forest landowners and hunt clubs.
• The program is only available to South Carolina Forestry Association members of good standing. Both the hunting club and landowner must be current members of SCFA to qualify.
